“Consumer Health Data” means personal information that is linked or reasonably linked to a consumer and that identifies past, present or future physical or mental health status. Consumer Health Data includes information about medical conditions as well as non-medical information, such as biometric data, information about use of non-prescription health-related products, and access to healthcare, reproductive care, gender-affirming care, accessibility needs or accommodations. Dateability collects Consumer Health Data from sources including:
- From you, if you choose to disclose this information on your profile.
- From you, when biometric data is collected and used as described in our Privacy Policy,
- Information provided through interactions with other members.
- From your interactions with us.
How We Disclose Consumer Health Data
Dateability may share consumer health data with the following categories of third parties when necessary for the purposes described above:
- Other users. You share information with other users when you voluntarily disclose information on the service for others to see, such as your profile or through messages.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate our service. They provide us services such as data hosting and maintenance, customer care, and security operations.
